¯Students are registered by semesters. If a student plans on cancelling lessons, they are still responsible for the lesson's costs until the end of the semester. If they plan on cancelling at the end of the semester, a 30 day notice is required.
¯Once a lesson is scheduled, that is your lesson time for that week. It is possible to switch lessons due to illness and other emergencies, but not guaranteed. If a reschedule is not available, you will still be responsible for the lesson and costs. If you miss your lesson and did not contact the studio to reschedule, you are still responsible for the lesson cost.
¯ Calendars are given out to each child to provide an opportunity to reserve spots that you would like in advance, as well as the child's availability. You can make changes to it when you send it with your child each week. Fill them out with your Monday through Sunday availability. 8am-10pm. If you have a preferred lesson time/day put an * next to those times. No times/days are guaranteed.
¯Parking is located behind the building. There is an enterance located on Western Ave, as well as Oak Street. Handicap parking is available.
¯Financial updates and reminders are sent home with your child in their folder. Please be sure to check their folder weekly. If you are late on a payment, send the amount of the past due lesson(s) and the $5 late fee for each missed week.
¯Returned check fee is $25.
Each child is given a folder to bring to every lesson, along with their music and calendar. Please purchase a notebook and a binder, as it is is also required for lessons.
You are responsible for (1) 45 minute lesson per week (piano 30 min/week).
Most music can be provided by the studio. If there is a specific song your child would like, and the studio can not provide, it is suggested to check out the library and online resources before making a purchase.
